KBR, Inc. in support of the Volpe National Transportation Systems Center, located in Cambridge, MA has an innovative Developer with expertise in Microsoft SharePoint Technologies and Power Platform. Qualified candidates should have hands-on experience in detailed design and coding, along with a deep understanding of SharePoint architecture and the Power Platform. Candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. Individual must have lived in the United States for 3 out of the last 5 years.
Essential Job Functions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into robust automated solutions and applications.
• Create and manage custom applications using Microsoft PowerApps to effectively fulfill business requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement automated workflows and processes utilizing Microsoft Power Automate.
• Design, develop, and maintain key components of the software suite using Power Platform and SharePoint Server.
• Implement SharePoint solutions, including workflows and business intelligence dashboards.
• Create responsive user interfaces based on provided UX design concepts within SharePoint.
• Integrate SharePoint solutions with commercial off-the-shelf software and configure third-party components.
• Monitor and maintain automated workflows and applications to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to existing workflows and applications to ensure smooth operations.
• Adapt comfortably to ambiguity in a change-driven development project.
Required Technical Skills:
• 3+ years of experience with Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).
• 5+ years of programming experience with SharePoint (including SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation).
• Knowledge of source control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge and experience with both formal and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to write stored procedures, create complex SQL queries, and analyze SQL data.
• Experience with unit and end-to-end testing.
Preferred Technical Skills:
• Experience with ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI is an added advantage but not a requirement.
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and/or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus.
• Experience with designing and developing in Microsoft Project Server is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Power Platform, specifically PowerApps and Power Automate, along with a solid understanding of Dataverse and relational databases.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field preferred
