About the Role
You will design, manage, and control Workday configuration in the Recruiting and Performance Enablement functional areas. You will support global/local enhancements or change requests as well as ongoing maintenance in the system while providing systems support and analysis to meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
• Seeking out opportunities to improve processes by rethinking existing configurations and deploying new features
• Keeping up to date with all Workday functional improvements and enhancements and making recommendations accordingly. Understanding how new feature releases might impact changes on functionality.
• Seeking after and driving process efficiencies that remove administration effort from end users and administrative staff
• Consulting as the system expert with business partners and end users to find solutions to current problems. Working closely with internal customers and external Product Owners to respond to requests and inquiries.
• Sharing knowledge with HR operational teams and developing user procedures, guidelines, documentation, end-user training resources, and communications for Workday modules
• Responsible for ensuring strict compliance with change control policies and procedures, guaranteeing that all modifications to the system or process are introduced in a controlled and coordinated manner.
Requirements
• Have extensive experience in providing comprehensive support, configuration and administration for the Workday system required, preferably in the Recruiting and Talent modules
• Be proficient in Business Process Configuration and administration, including workflows, validations, and conditional rules
• Demonstrate quick learning agility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Possess excellent IT proficiency with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Packages, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Case Management Tools.
• Possess an investigative nature, a desire to problem solve, and ability to think outside of the box
• Have exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage and analyze large amounts of data
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and notable ability to build and maintain good working relationships
