Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team! In this role you will get to design, develop, and maintain multi-site communications networked infrastructure. This position is located in Ramstein Air Base, Germany (International Assignment) *NO REMOTE WORK**
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Architect and deploy Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Enterprise Linux infrastructure services, including but not limited to: Active Directory, MECM, CA Servers, Ansible, Red Hat Identity Management, and more.
• Build and maintain linked vSphere environments – 3 node vSAN clusters utilizing Kubernetes, Trust authorities and key providers.
• Create and test both STIG and preference GPO’s.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware and software issues.
• Conduct virtual machine builds on physical server stacks.
• Document and maintain servers, create monitoring reports and logs, and ensure functionality of systems.
• Install and administer Windows and Linux Operating Systems and associated applications.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
• Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years’ experience or Master’s degree with 6-8 years’ experience in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 7 + years of experience in a System Administrator role
• Extensive expertise working with VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, and related vSphere products.
• Expertise with Microsoft Windows Server.
• Expertise with Microsoft Active Directory Group Policies.
• Experience planning and/or deploying Microsoft MECM (formerly SCCM) environments.
• Experience installing Nessus (ACAS) Security Center and scanners.
• Experience deploying and operating Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience scripting in PowerShell / Bash to automate tasks.
• Understanding of switching, routing, VPN, and firewall concepts.
• Understanding of STIG, SCAP, and RMF processes.
• IAT Level II certification required (CompTIA Sec +, etc.)
• Secret clearance is required.
What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:
• Experience operating Nessus (ACAS) Security Center: policy and credential creation and scanning.
• Experience creating GOLD images and server backups with the appropriate OS hardening, leveraging the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) and Security Content Application Protocol (SCAP) scans.
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting routing and switching, and integration of Firewalls.

Salary Range:
$96,400.00 – $168,700.00
