Senior Quality Inspector
Up to £45,000
Abingdon
Devil is in the detail… a saying so crucial for the life of a quality inspector and that detail is what is needed for this position within this manufacturing business.
This manufacturing business machine precision components for a wide range of industries including motorsport, aerospace and even for companies supplying components into space!
Naturally, this is a wide range of components with various complexities so this role would involve inspecting components using inspection tools such as verniers, callipers and heigh gauges, as well as using an Aberlink CMM. Being a senior member of the quality team you’ll be also responsible for quality improvements on the shopfloor and implementation of LEAN Manufacturing to improve the quality performance of the whole business.
For This Role You Will Need Experience With
CMM operating and programming experience (Ideally Aberlink)
Conducting Nonconformance reports and experience in implementing LEAN or Six Sigma Tools
Experience in carrying out “first off” inspection and have a right first-time approach to all inspection.
Also be aware of what is needed to maintain an ISO9001 standard.
