Our platform product team is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to help craft and implement the evolution of our web platform to continuously meet the growing apps that we support. This is a high-impact responsibility that drives ease of implementation and technical foundation to empower our design, engineering, and product organizations to build industry leading experiences consistently and efficiently with performance, scale, and accessibility top of mind.
The Role
You’ll be a key contributor in supporting our Design Systems and Applications Foundations pillars. This role entails having a keen understanding of the ongoing business and capability needs of the applications that these pillars support, and a deep understanding of the underlying technology that enable those needs. You’ll work very closely with our Product Management, Design and Engineering partners/stakeholders to define performant and scalable platform solutions that span our platforms. You will also be an advocate for your work-streams to draw awareness, alignment and operational difficulty with key team members across our organization.
Details Include:
• Partner with Architecture, Design, and Engineering to define and drive the strategy, principles, vision, roadmap, goals, and success metrics for your areas of focus
• Build strong partnerships with internal partners, crafting continuous feedback loops that allow us to better understand their challenges and prioritize solutions
• Ensure our platform evolution addresses product lifecycle and adoption/migration
• Work cross-functionally with other product teams to ensure roadmaps are aligned and socialized
• Represent your subject area expertise during reviews with executives and partner with program management to ensure regular communications, updates and follow-ups
• Monitor the health along with the associated risks and implications of ongoing projects; be responsible for the resolution of cross-functional issues
Requirements
• 5+ years of product management experience similar experience working as a technical product manager and/or engineer (dual experience strongly preferred).
• Experience as a design systems product manager or design manager a plus
• Proven technical competence with experience working with developers and designers to craft web solutions
• A track record for defining and implementing platform strategies that build value
• Ability to quantitatively and qualitatively understand complex problems, prioritize business and customer needs
• Experience with geographically distributed teams
• Excel in an environment where the topics and tasks are multifaceted and move quickly and learn fast
• A passion for setting the standard and driving standard methodologies
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $121,800 — $228,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
