As a Senior Oracle Analytics Cloud Developer, you will have extensive experience in data warehousing, Oracle Analytics, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), MDM (Master Data Management), and data cataloging. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle Analytics Cloud and the ability to leverage it for business intelligence and data management solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Oracle Analytics Cloud Development:
• Design, develop, and implement Oracle Analytics Cloud solutions
• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business decision-making
• Optimize performance and scalability of Oracle Analytics Cloud implementations
Data Warehousing
• Design and maintain data warehousing solutions
• Develop ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into the data warehouse
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across the data warehouse
ETL Development
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading to support business intelligence initiatives
Master Data Management (MDM)
• Implement and manage MDM solutions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and reliability of master data
• Devekop and enforce data governance policies and procedures
Data Cataloging
• Develop and maintain data catalogs to facilitate data discovery and usage
• Ensure proper documentation and metadata management for data assets
Collaboration And Support
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Analytics Cloud and data warehouse environments
• Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices and technical skill
• Strategically drive sales of Oracle Cloud services across government sectors, including state, local, federal, and DoD agencies
• Establish and nurture relationships with key government decision-makers to address their unique cloud requirements and objectives
• Collaborate with Tharseo IT’s technical, marketing, and project management teams to develop customized Oracle Cloud solutions that meet specific agency needs
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards relevant to cloud deployments in government settings
• Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to a variety of government stakeholders, clearly articulating the technical and business benefits of Oracle Cloud
• Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to deal closure, including proposal generation, contract negotiation and finalization
• Consistently achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets
What You’ll Need
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in Oracle Analytics Cloud development
• Strong experience in data warehousing, ETL, MDM, and data cataloging
• Proficiency with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and other ETL tools
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Higher Education industry experience
What’s Nice To Have
• Oracle certification
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management
• Experience in cloud platforms such as OCI
• Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
