The following position is to join our RTX Corporate Communications team:
The Senior Manager, Employee Communications is a strong writer and strategist, with the ability to develop, lead, and execute various integrated communications plans aligned to both business and employee initiatives. The ideal candidate is a creative, driven and enthusiastic strategic communicator who is experienced in client and project management with the ability to lead projects in a matrixed organization.
What You Will Do
• Leads employee communications for two business development organizations within RTX including Collins Aerospace’s Customer & Account Management (C&AM) and Raytheon’s Requirements & Capabilities (R&C).
• Includes working across teams to develop and execute a data-driven employee communications strategy for both C&AM and R&C aligned to business priorities.
• Also, includes supporting executive communications for C&AM and R&C leadership in partnership with the Global Business Communications team for employee events and initiatives.
• This role also serves as the employee communications lead for Tier 1, RTX integrated campaigns, developing and executing internal components as part of the broader communications strategy.
• Serves as the employee communications lead for select Tier 1, RTX trade shows, developing and executing internal components as part of the integrated communications strategy.
• Supports the employee-facing Business Capabilities campaign, including editorial planning, tracking, and analytics; leads the campaign’s presence on RTXConnections (internal social media platform).
• Provides surge support across the Employee Communications team, supporting business, functional, crisis and site communications as needed.
• Travel up to 20%
Qualifications You Must Have
• Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in a related field and a minimum 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and 8 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, 12 years of experience is required.
• U.S Person (U.S Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) or as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
• Previous experience developing, executing and measuring internal communications strategies, with exceptional written, verbal, and social communication skills.
• Proficiency in storytelling that delivers impactful, positive outcomes.

Minimum Program Qualifications

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD – 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
