The Adobe.com Home experience team is looking for a senior full stack engineer to join its ranks in the San Jose, Seattle or San Francisco offices. As part of this team, you will author sophisticated frontend and backend features and capabilities using world-class technologies that bring access to apps, services, community and other aspects of the Adobe experience to millions of users, anywhere and anytime!
We are looking for an engineer with a strong computer science background and extensive web development experience to develop the next generation of web experiences for Adobe’s users. What you’ll Do
• Work closely with product managers and designers to build the Adobe home experience for the web with ownership of the complete development stack.
• Collaborate with partners in US and India to define and implement new features and improvements based on business requirements.
• Create innovative solutions, components and tools for internal use.
• Work with the state-of-the-art and implement the best-in-class development methodologies and standards.
• Drive sophisticated software architecture, design and development.
• Maintain focus on performance, user experience, UI design principles and on making applications work intuitively.
What you need to succeed
• Expertise in several of the following: React, Redux, ES6, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS, HTML5, RESTful API, Node.js, GraphQL, and other web technologies.
• Experience with various JavaScript libraries and responsive web design.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, JS debugger, lint, Webpack, NPM/Yarn, etc.
• Familiarity with AWS, or other Content Delivery Network (CDN).
• Familiarity with database technologies such as Amazon DynamoDB, MongoDB, SQL, etc.
• Familiarity with headless CMS` such as Contentful.
• Expertise in building large and complex code bases, including API design techniques to help keep them clean and maintainable.
• Comfort with Agile and Lean development process.
• Experience in working with offshore teams.
• A love for learning new things, working hard and have fun.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in software development.
• B.S. or M.S. preferably in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,000 — $278,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
