Field Service Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work of medium to high complexity as per work instructions and ABB guidelines. Each day, you will deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. You will also showcase your expertise by working with customer to identify opportunities in the installed base, to improve system performance and operational performance.
The work model for the role is: remote
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service division in North America:
You will be mainly accountable for:
• Serving as the primary on-site representative to the ABB end customer/user and other ABB field personnel.
• Preserving ABB’s Safety Culture on every aspect and as first priority, in the field and always keeping an eye on co-workers.
• Occasionally have additional team leader administrative responsibilities to coordinate internal field service activities.
• Performing duties as the Project Manager for all assigned ABB product lines and assist the customer with technical understanding of the operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of multiple types of ABB products.
Qualifications for the role
• Bachelor’s Degree on Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a High
• School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a support or field engineering

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field engineering role including a minimum of 3 years of
• experience performing power systems analysis and a minimum of 1 year of experience in
• customer support and the development of successful customer relationships.
• Ability and willingness to travel 60% – 80% of the time within TX, LA, MO, OK, AR, KS, AL, MS, TN
• regions.
