The Spatial Solutions Division (SSD), part of the Decision Advantage Solutions Business Area, is currently seeking a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer for the Maru Program. As a Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer you will be required to develop solutions that are highly innovative and achieved through research and integration of industry best practices. You will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, hybrid-cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, and security best practices. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to streamline our CI/CD pipelines, enhance our security postures, and optimize our cloud and on-premises environments. You will influence development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results while also leading work of other technical staff. You will resolve highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation. You will interact daily with various technical resources across different vendors which are fulfilling technical requirements for the customer.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to automate the setup, scaling, and management of IT resources.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable quick and reliable code deployment across various environments.
• Monitor and ensure the reliability and performance of applications and services in production.
• Collaborate with software developers, and other IT staff to oversee code releases and deployments.
• Lead incident management and response, including root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
• Optimize system performance by conducting system troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
• Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle, including compliance with data protection regulations.
• Manage and maintain infrastructure, including cloud services and in-house hardware, to meet the organization’s needs.
• Research and implement new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement in the software delivery process.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps team members and promoting a culture of knowledge sharing.
• Document technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress and challenges.
Basic Qualifications:
• US citizenship is required per contract.
• BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues and design effective solutions.
• Possess effective communication and be able to collaborate with Customers, and cross-functional teams, document technical processes, and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Requires a profound understanding of cloud computing technologies, Linux operating systems, and networking.
• Experience with containerization software (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Hands-on experiment with automaton and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, CloudFormation)
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, bash
• Proficient in engineering and administering cloud operations, automation, security networking, and SaaS services.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Expert level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk)

Pay Range:
Pay Range $122,200.00 – $220,900.00
