Responsibilities:
– Contribute significantly to month-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
– Deliver accurate and timely financial data to management.
– Ensure adherence to GAAP and other regulatory standards.
– Manage sales tax compliance.
– Collaborate with cross-functional departments for accurate financial reporting.
– Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures.
– Analyze and interpret operating results, providing monthly variance commentary and reporting.
– Support the Controller in directing the accounting department???s work functions.
– Conduct financial analysis and special projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and organizational skills.
– Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
– High ethical standards and confidentiality.
– At least two years of accounting experience; manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred.
-Proficiency with ERP accounting software and MS Office.
