JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Security Technology will assist in selection, implementation, and support of security systems in retail and cultivation operations. Security systems include camera, NVR, and cloud video storage; door access control; alarm and intrusion detection systems. Ideally, the candidate will be inspired by a fast-paced culture and have a high level of comfort in ownership of multi-state security technology. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as the lead security system administrator in solving Level 2 incidents from user and client-base by prioritizing such work and resolving efficiently and completely. Act as the lead systems administrator in handling user administration requests on the company security systems. Work effectively and collaboratively with other technology teams to implement security systems. Deliver an efficient response to the user-base and reinforce the customer focus of the Technology Team. Perform hands-on configuration of security systems. Maintain an up-to-date understanding of regulatory requirements as it relates to security systems. Design, configure, test, and implement appropriate security systems. Document processes to include but not limited to – project management reporting, asset management, accomplishments report, procedures, activity checklist, and help desk incident reporting. Perform accurate maintenance of systems change logs so that there is an audit trail in the event of system failures. Perform configuration work to include patching, upgrades and HW / SW installations as required. Serve as primary contact for security system vendors and implementation resources. Be on-call, work irregular hours, and travel (max 50%) as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Will accept a combination of relevant work experience, courses, and certifications. Minimum three years’ business experience with security technology including door access and camera systems. Experience implementing security technology in the cannabis industry strongly desired. Ability to work independently on a team, and a virtual team. Ability to be on-call, work irregular hours, and travel (max 50%) as required.Salary Range:$150K — $200KMinimum QualificationSystems Architecture & Engineering, IT Security, Technology ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
