Key Responsibilities:
• Satellite Bus Systems: Oversee design, development, manufacture, integration and test, and delivery of satellite bus systems into operations
• Subsystems Engineering: Review and assess progress of thermal, structural, attitude and controls, telemetry, propulsion, power and harness bus subsystems
• Program Cost Management: Support data reviews, provide assessments of developer’s progress towards meeting program cost, schedule, and performance goals
• Risk Assessments: Develop risk assessments towards anomalies or failures
• Design, Manufacturing, and Test Readiness Reviews: Participate in design reviews, manufacturing and test readiness reviews and deliver assessments for senior Government consideration
• Concept of Operations: Understand Concept of Operations to support as-designed/as-built assessments
• Deliver Technical Assessments: Participate in Failure Review Boards as applicable and delivery technical assessment
Work Environment:
• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: May require travel up to 20% of the time within the continental United States

Qualifications:
Required:
• Clearance: TS/SCI with a Polygraph
• Education: Technical Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years related work experience
• LEO Systems: Emphasis on Low Earth orbit systems experience
• Proven Leadership: Comfortable providing assessments to junior, mid-level and senior Government decision makers
• Presentation Skills: Good written and oral presentation skills
• Self-starter: Highly motivated, self-starting, and able to perform duties autonomously without supervision
Desired:
• Education: Technical Master’s degree
• Satellite Development: Small Satellite Development experience
