NMC Health is in need of an RN House Supervisor. In this role, you will collaborate with Nursing Units and Nursing Leadership to provide leadership to our team and play a vital role in the everyday operations throughout NMC Health.This role ensures that high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit are followed. If you are a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring families and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of patients and staff, we encourage you to apply! This is a Full-time position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and experience:
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited school of nursing is required
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience preferred
• 1 year of Charge/Supervisory RN experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and abilities:
• Skills in performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities required.
• Skills in interpersonal relationships with the ability to get along with diverse personalities and ability to be tactful, mature, and flexible required.
• Skills in reasoning, problem-solving, making effective decisions and using sound judgement required.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing required.
• Ability to use tact, diplomacy and professionalism in all aspects of the position required.
Licensure, registration and certification:
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kansas
• Certification in CPR/Basic Life Support
• Certification in Advance Cardiac Life Support recommended
