We are currently seeking a talented, motivated and detail oriented Resource Manager to be responsible for overall oversight of assigned Resource Video Monitors and Resource Specialists. In this capacity, the Resource Manager will provide constant visual monitoring (oversight) of the Damar Campus to ensure compliance with Damar policies and procedures. During critical moments, the Resource Manager will ensure appropriate resources are available and provide immediate training, corrective direction and support to staff members.

Remarkable way you will make a difference…
• Manages all employee functions of assigned staff.
• Complies with HIPAA guidelines by maintaining the confidentiality of video recordings and protecting access to the video recording and monitoring room.
• Ensures safety, security and surveillance for Campus during assigned shift accomplished through vigilant monitoring and active interactions with staff.
• Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations for all Damar programs serving as a leader in de-escalation and/or intervention as needed.
• Takes appropriate action regarding any events that affect the mental and physical well-being of the residents, including but not limited to, providing client and staff support, informal training and crisis management.
What you need to be considered…
• Must be able to verify one of the following qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree combined with one year of full-time experience working with behavioral challenges and/or individuals identifying with the DD/ID population.
• Associate degree or 48 completed credit hours combined with two years of full-time experience working with behavioral challenges and/or individuals identifying with the DD/ID population.
• High School Diploma or GED combined with four years of full-time experience working with behavioral challenges and/or individuals identifying with the DD/ID population.
• Must have six months of full-time experience working as a Resource Video Monitor I on the Damar Services Resource Team.
• Be at least 21
• Depending on the specific role you may need to possess a valid Indiana driver’s license and good driving record
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Favorably meet and maintain Damar Services’ background screening
• Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal offenses
