The candidate must have solid experience selling capital equipment in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset.

Job Description
The Regional Sales Manager – Midwest will be responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for our high-end OSD (Oral-Solid-Dosage) Pharmaceutical process equipment, within the designated region. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets.

Canada: Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba
What you’ll do:
Direct Sales & Client Consultation:
• Management of all Sales activities in assigned region (DIRECT area of Responsibility)
• Focus on sales goals by maintaining consistent sales activity to ensure the territory is effectively served.
• Maintain existing customer base by keeping close communication with customers.
• Grow sales results by prospecting and visiting new customers to uncover new projects.
• Deliver technical sales presentations to prospective customers in person or on-line.
• Request equipment proposals via current internal procedures. Assist in proposal clarification based on project intel.
• Review customer requirements to correctly define deliverables.
• Promote sales of spare parts and technical services with new equipment.
• Promote and encourage live customer demonstrations and testing in the Warminster, PA Service Center.
Reporting & Communication:
• Submit brief weekly activity reports (Fridays).
• Submit updated monthly sales projects list to Director of Sales (end of the month).
• Communicate effectively within the sales organization to streamline sales projects, especially those which overlap multiple territories.
• Tradeshows, Webinars and Customer Testing & Educational trips:
• Assist in the promotion and attendee recruiting at biannual technical seminars in the Warminster, PA Service Center.
• Accompany and host customer equipment factory acceptance testing at parent company in Germany.
• Attend as booth staff participation at all North American exhibitions (3-4 per year).
• Attend relevant seminars, forums and industry meetings as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
• BS in engineering or any STEM focused degree is preferred
• Strong team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Proficient in typical office software (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience with Microsoft Project is required.
• Experience with CAD software is a plus
• Friendly, customer service-oriented attitude.
• Willing to travel up to 70% within sales territory; attending trade shows as well as meetings and trainings in Germany
• German language skills are a plus
