Overview
Primary responsibility of the Regional Account Manager is to drive dealer and distributor sell-in and sell-thru across a variety of sales and marketing activities. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for and measured by the following KPI performance metrics.
• Sales results (versus budget) for customers in named territory/dealer territory
• Growth of average unit sales by assigned dealers and distributors
• Effective marketing programs utilizing various sales and marketing triggers
Regional Account Manager’s will be assigned distributors and/or key accounts within the reselling channel. The Regional Account Manager will work with Sales Directors to determine where to focus their time and energy towards achieving the above KPI’s. The Regional Account Manager will travel 60% of their time into each assigned region to sell our SHARP home appliances products. They will also coordinate with their assigned outside SHARP Director on any and all aspects to ensure the greatest success for our SHARP brand and products. They will provide timely updates to all parties on performance, opportunities, concerns, key dealer/retail sales reps/contacts and needs such as training, pricing, meetings, etc. to drive growth and achievement of the dealer’s primary objectives and SHARP’s quota performance.
The Regional Account Manager will work out of HQ in Montvale NJ but will be expected to spend upwards of 60% of their time traveling to and meeting with accounts within NY metro area.
Responsibilities
• Sales plan by key account and channel distributor with agreed-upon goals and objectives per the above KPI’s
• Manage Nationwide Marketing Group and AVB Brandsource programs and communication to reach our channel dealer network supplied by distribution.
• Proactive calls to dealer management and sales reps with call quotas and measurement
• Priority based on sales plan and product portfolio
• Key Account dealer opportunity, identification and engagements
• Sales support on product information, pricing, strategy, new products
• Communicate sales programs and other key SHARP brand and product information
• Web based training/communications to dealership and sales reps
• Trade show coordination, meeting scheduling, effective SHARP social programming
• Internal SEMCA communication on deals, obstacles, pricing, competitive activities, new products
• Update all internal tools/systems/databases regarding dealers, i.e. adding/updating dealer sales reps and key contacts
• Monitoring, reporting and engaging with dealer websites to enhance SHARP sales opportunities
The Regional Account Manager will utilize support our customers/dealers as well as manage their goals:
• Sales and brochure materials
• Video’s and product demonstrations
• Webinars and email communications
• Trainers and web based training
• When and where effective and appropriate will conduct face to face dealer meetings/presentations
• When and where appropriate will attend and participate in trade shows
Qualifications
• 3-5 years selling experience.
• Consumer Electronics, Home Appliance selling experience ideal.
• Self-starter with superior time management, detail orientation and organization skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrated business / financial acumen.
• Ability to get things done in a matrixed organization.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills required.
• Mastery of Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams.
• TRAVEL: Up to 60% travel, domestic.

Compensation for this position
The compensation range for this role is $57,290-110,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location. You may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary incentive award, commissions, and program-specific awards, which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
