An international law firm with offices in Washington, D.C. is seeking a full-time Records Center Clerk to join their team. The person will be responsible for providing support to both legal and non-legal staff.
Responsibilities
The receipt, maintenance and delivery of the Firm’s client/matter files and attorney’s personal files
Trust & Estate deposits
Pepping of material for scanning/imaging; and maintaining inventories of files for accurate and prompt retrievals.
Requirements
• Prior records experience in a law Firm is preferred.
• Demonstration of general clerical and typing skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work.
• Must type a minimum of 20 words per minute.
• Ability to maintain pleasant working relations with all levels of personnel.
• Must be available for overtime as determined by the Manager, Records Department.
• Must be available to work alternate shifts when requested.
