Position: Receptionist
Location: Martinsville, IN
Contract: 3+ months
Pay: $18-21/hr
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for our company. This role requires an individual who is personable, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks with ease. The Receptionist will manage the front desk, greet visitors, answer phone calls, and provide administrative support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet Visitors: Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer and Direct Calls: Manage incoming calls, route them to the appropriate person, and take messages as needed.
• Manage Front Desk: Maintain a tidy and presentable reception area.
• Mail Handling: Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative and clerical support, including data entry, photocopying, and filing.
• Assist with Events: Help coordinate and set up company meetings, events, and conferences.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree or additional certifications in office management or related fields is a plus.
• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
