Job Summary
Battelle’s National Security Division is seeking a Readiness Analyst for full-time work in Aberdeen, Maryland supporting the 20th CBRNE Command G37. Personnel will provide direct support conducting mission analysis, planning, reporting, and coordination of the unit’s global mission, deployment readiness, and training. General duties include CTC calendar updates/sourcing with FORSCOM; maintaining the Command calendars for training management support; Deployment Certification Memo processing; AAR processing.
Responsibilities
• Receives, analyzes, and processes Unit Status Reports (USR) for 20th CBRNE Command units, ensuring that reporting CBRN and EOD units meet FORSCOM and HQDA reporting guidance.
• Provides technical review:
• Reviews the DRRS-A transactions, identifies USR that contain errors, provides guidance to subordinate personnel for error resolution or uses on-line computer based systems to input corrections as necessary.
• Updates appropriate reports in the USR database and ensures they are processed to FORSCOM as required.
• Reviews and analyzes HQDA system messages and resolves any system or data discrepancies with FORSCOM and HQDA.
• Analyzes USR data contained in various computer-based systems, identifies deficiencies in edit validity or data value consistencies and directs necessary remedial action to produce optimum information in support of decision-makers.
• Compiles data, provides analysis, briefing products, and briefing scripts for multiple operational readiness reporting forums and requirements within the 20th CBRNE Command. Processes training and mission readiness documents for record requirements.
Key Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree and 2-4 years of experience supporting an Army staff at Brigade or below.
• Experience with MS Office suite of applications
• Experience with the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) and Unit Status Reporting (USR).
• Active DOD SECRET Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
• Former Company Command preferred
• Active DOD TS/SCI Clearance.
