JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties: Assure the integrity of data, including data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Work with business functional area counterparts to develop interactive dashboards and management reporting using business intelligence software. Develop, test, and implement daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports that enable data driven business decisions using BI tools. Integrate Home Lending Data analytics with Hadoop, Hive, Python and other big data tools. Perform in depth analysis of the data and surface actionable recommendations in line with line of business partner goals and KPIs. Work on SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle databases including creation of Functions, Procedures and Triggers. Design and develop data structures (data marts, cubes) that enable reporting and analytics to be developed efficiently. Create SSRS reports and utilize SSIS packages for the ETL functionality. Partner with business owners to implement new data sources and ensure consistent definitions in reporting and analytics. Generate ideas for improvement in reporting as well as new ways of looking at information using visualization tools.
Qualifications
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Analyst/Engineer, Data Scientist, Business Analyst/Analytics, Software Engineer, Application Developer, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Engineering Management, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Quant Analytics, Business Intelligence Analyst/Engineer, Data Scientist, Business Analyst/Analytics, Software Engineer, Application Developer, or related occupation.
Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: data marts and data cubes; automating processes to source, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data; writing and interpreting SQL; Alteryx; Tableau; Python or R; data mining; Business Intelligence tools such as SSRS; SSIS; JIRA; SharePoint; documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and test plans; business process reengineering and business modeling concepts; business systems development and analysis.
Job Location: 7255 Baymeadows Way, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
