Job Summary: The Quality Review Clerk performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, kitting, auditing, shipping, receiving, and dispositioning nonconforming material in accordance with established procedures.
This is a Weekend Shift position: Friday – Sunday, 6 am – 6:30 pm
Relocation assistance is not offered and will not be considered.
Employees must be in their role for 12 months before applying.
Job Summary: The Quality Review Clerk performs a variety of manual/administrative tasks associated with inventory control, kitting, auditing, shipping, receiving, and dispositioning nonconforming material in accordance with established procedures.
What You Will Do:
• Utilize applicable standard work and inventory management system to ensure inventory accuracy of the MRB-Quality Clinic, perform basic cycle counts as required to maintain inventory and perform post-disposition process for the MRB-Quality Clinic
• Package and ship customer returned material as required for the Quality Clinic
• Maintains current knowledge of and complies with customer/Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/Joint Aviation Administration (JAA) technical data as applicable to the work assigned.
• Aptitude for training, train other personnel, provide technical support and maintain a strong working relationship with the QRC and Quality Clinic team
• Bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and work overtime as needed
• Responsibilities are not limited to the listed items above and can be changed or modified based on skill level, proficiency, and overall performance.
Qualifications You Must Have:
• High School Diploma/GED
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
• 2+ years of experience managing inventory or working in a materials, shipping, receiving, or logistics support role
Qualifications We Value:
• Experience with Access and/or Excel databases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, planning, problem solving, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations regulatory requirements or work experience with government regulatory agencies
• Knowledge of aerospace quality standards including AS9100, AS9102, & ISO
• Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management, external customers, and government agencies

The Pratt & Whitney Site in Asheville, NC implements manufacturing industry 4.0 initiatives, to include state of the art manufacturing processes. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to learn and drive impactful production on some of the newest machines on a greenfield site.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
