What is your favorite part about your team?

My favorite part about the BIT, Behavioral Health Intervention Team, that I work on is that we are focused on not just helping patients in their most difficult and trying circumstances, but also supporting and providing education for staff who are dealing with some of the most difficult patients in the hospital. And the competency of my teammates and supervisor was one of the primary reasons I was so attracted to this role, and really one of my favorite parts about the team. It’s nice when other functional units are happy to see you because you’re providing an additional resource to support them. And I’d say that’s my most favorite piece of being on this team.

Required qualifications:
• Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management: Nursing or Healthcare related field.
• California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• Risk Management: 4 years in working in healthcare environment.
• 2 years working in healthcare quality management.
Preferred qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• 3 years of experience in Quality Improvement
• 2 years working in healthcare quality management.
