Position Summary
As a Quality Assurance Professional, I am dedicated to developing, modifying, and applying quality standards for products and processes. With a focus on quality improvement, I utilize diverse and complex statistical information to ensure that division quality objectives are met. I am responsible for guiding technical evaluations, analyses, and data acquisition processes to uphold high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
Assessing quality performance using statistical and analytical methods to drive improvement
Developing and establishing advanced quality systems and procedures
Identifying quality trends and recommending corrective actions
Collaborating with customers and suppliers to ensure quality compliance
Contributing to product development by providing quality input
Designing inspection and testing mechanisms
Analyzing data and preparing comprehensive reports
Participating in failure analysis and corrective action investigations
Applying continuous improvement principles to refine products and processes
Representing the company in audits and regulatory interactions
Maintaining professional knowledge through education and industry networking
Providing leadership and mentorship to team members
Sharing specialized knowledge and contributing to high-level projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least six years of related experience
American Society for Quality certification desired
Knowledge of aerospace industry or similar industry products
Proficiency in continuous improvement techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Project management expertise
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
