Purpose:
This role is responsible for being the subject matter expert supporting Verity’s Purchase Optimization Solutions by focusing on driving internal and external engagement around operational aspects of the solution set, including implementation, program management, troubleshooting, data analysis, program health, and strategizing.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develops ongoing relationships with assigned customer accounts and vendors, specifically developing and implementing tactics/process to drive continuous performance improvement of the purchase optimization solutions.
• Drives overall effort to surface customer specific opportunities and actions to maximize the feature set adoption that results in improved program performance.
• Serves as the program training expert on core features and functions of the program, providing guidance; and creates plans to advance additional training and development for each customer account.
• Periodically reviews purchase optimization solution performance and creates Purchase Optimization program business review content and shares with primary account manager and customer alike.
• Proactively investigates and seeks support with operational and data questions and anomalies; using all resources to evaluate and develop action plans for resolution.
• Serves as an expert customer resource for how Verity’s Purchase Optimization products support our customer’s success.
• Uses Excel or comparable data management tools to demonstrate understanding of Purchase Optimization data; and translates data into business imperatives for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborates closely with Verity cross-functional teams to discuss, prioritize, and track new functionality that supports purchase optimization solutions.
• Work with internal and external partners to assess problems and determine what data analytic efforts could be applied to support a solution.
• Monitors the competitive landscape to understand other similar emerging solutions and periodically participates in discussions to surface new opportunities to drive product differentiation.
• Supports Purchase Optimization implementation efforts, managing processes including claims file review for accuracy, and proper file processing for project go-lives. In addition, review files for proper inclusion of data elements necessary in inbound and outbound files.
• Responds timely and completely to customer communication, ensuring our service level standards are achieved.
• Participates in developing content and utilizing all educational and training resources available to maintain knowledge of features and functions of the software.
• Develop and foster working relationships with internal and external teams, including Covered Entities, Product Development, IT, Operations, Sales, Accounting, and others to facilitate cross-functional project and analysis work.
• Attend to other analysis or cross-departmental initiatives as assigned.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• BA or BS in Business or Healthcare field or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience, specifically within 340B program management and/or pharmacy buying.
• 3+ years’ experience in a customer support, technical support or SaaS account management position.
• Pharmacy Technician Certification a plus.
• Experience in Health System Procurement or Supply Chain teams a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills at all levels of an organization.
• Experience having difficult conversations or communicating negative news to customers and peers.
• Solid analytical, organizational, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated experience to identify and quantify existing and future problems and provide effective solutions, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience using both strategic and quick-thinking skills to solve tomorrow’s problem while balancing current tasks.
• A desire to help customers with their problems and achieve value with the product. When a customer isn’t having the best experience, assist with care.
• Ability to independently learn and research for thorough understanding of the 3408 programs to ensure consistent improvement of the overall value, and internal support of the 3408 program.
• Comfortable with balancing multiple, competing priorities and changes in scope/ direction.
• Sales Force or similar CRM experience a plus.
• Strong competencies with Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel skills), knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings. Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
• Detail-oriented, a team-player and work independently within established parameters as relevant.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 74,400 – 124,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
