Project Manager- ITIL/ ITSM
Location: DFW, Texas- United States (onsite)
We are looking for senior Project Manager with ITIL/ ITSM experience with at least 8 to 12 years of overall IT experience for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers.
This is an Onsite position with 4 days presence to client location- DFW, Texas, USA. Interested applicants, must be ready to relocate to the client location, if not local to – DFW, Texas, USA
Roles And Responsibilities
• Experience of managing Stakeholder like customer, leadership and taking care of Governance calls (WSR, MSR, PMR, etc).
• Management of team (onshore / offshore) to meet business/ operations goals around defined responsibilities.
• Experience in managing operations calls and take corrective actions to improve SLAsKPIs (if required)
• Identify areas where operational efficiencies can be gained by documenting routine procedures.
• Work with and collaborate with Service Delivery and Application Support teams as required.
• Should have technical knowledge on any of these technology (Windows, VMware, Citrix, SQL, Oracle Database, Backup and storage administration, Unix, Exchange, Skype, Network)
• 24X7 availability to address P1 / P2 and successful closure
• Should be accountable & own Infrastructure service delivery
• Understanding offshore operation & get the services delivered through them
• Experience in managing risks
• Expertise in delivery of large end-to-end programs and Strong knowledge of Project/Program delivery management Skills
• Experience in Contractual document (SOW/MSA) preparation, review and presentation to the client for sign-off.
• Good communication, presentation, interpersonal and client interfacing skills at Senior Management level.
• Strong experience for project finance and resource management
• Experience in Cognizant offerings to the client in line with client business strategy.
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes – certification is a plus
• Experience in Business change/transformation and automation.
• Experience in various cost model (T&M, FP, Outcome based, blended rate model etc.).
Qualifications
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Have 8 to 12 years of experience in project management.
• Demonstrate expertise in ServiceNow ITSM.
• Show strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Have a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Display proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Be adept at-risk management and problem-solving.
• Show commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
• Have experience in coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrate ability to manage project budgets and resources effectively.
• Show a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Exhibit strong leadership and team-building skills.
Certifications
PMP or PRINCE2 certification ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
