Project Coordinator
Position Summary
Catalent’s Greenville, N.C. facility specializes in end-to-end turn-key solutions for oral solid dosage forms, including integrated formulation development, analytical services, commercial manufacturing, and packaging. This state-of-the-art facility has had over $100M of investments in recent years and features fit-for-scale capacity with potent handling capabilities, ideal for orphan or targeted drug development.
The Project Coordinator will support Project Managers with the management of projects. The Project Coordinator will help to promote continuous improvement in all aspects, which includes coordination with Business Development, Manufacturing Operations, Commercial Operations and Quality Assurance to ensure the highest level of client service.
The Role
• Ensure completion of assigned tasks and monitor timelines to support Project Managers.
• Participate in project meetings as well as propose and implement improvements if necessary.
• Communicate project progress and follow-ups to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Evaluate potential project risks and work with Project Managers to develop solutions.
• Manage straightforward projects that generally require minimal client interaction; act as the main contact for the client and facilitate responses to questions and observations.
• Serve as Client Advocate for work on the site.
• Develop and oversee a Project Plan to meet key milestones.
• Lead meetings with client and internal teams to facilitate project success.
• Support Project Managers in meeting project deadlines and budget requirements.
• All other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry required.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly.
• Be accessible to manufacturing floor and office staff and to use required office equipment.
