Spherion is partnering with a premier client to find talented Production Operators. In this role, you’ll operate blending and packaging equipment in a collaborative team environment, with a strong focus on producing high-quality products. We’re looking for candidates who are proficient with various equipment and dedicated to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
• Operate blending and packaging equipment to optimize output while ensuring quality.
• Adhere to ISO standards and operating procedures.
• Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure that blends meet company standards and pass laboratory testing.
• Verify that finished goods are free of defects (e.g., straight labels, correct raw materials, clean packaging).
• Participate in team committees focused on improving safety and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors to support organizational needs.
Working hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Skills:
• Experience operating blending and packaging equipment is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong mechanical and process aptitude.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both business and user-friendly language.
• Self-motivated to gather information and enhance personal knowledge.
• Visual acuity for reading screens, printed documents, and operating equipment.
• Effective hearing and speech for communication with coworkers.
• Manual dexterity for typing, using a mouse, and operating production equipment.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with effective communication skills.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
