Job Summary
The Production Operator will perform various production activities and operate equipment to ensure that the plant meets production capacity and shipment requirements while adhering to SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) standards, SOPs, and quality protocols.
This role involves handling raw materials, packaging products, and working in a batch processing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle raw materials, transport them to the dispensing room, and weigh them according to batch requirements.
• Operate and monitor equipment such as mixing, blending, and packaging machines.
• Perform inspections and reconciliation of batch labels for premixes and complete packaging activities.
• Conduct sampling and visual inspections of raw materials and finished goods.
• Communicate production issues and relevant information to the incoming shift.
• Participate in SHE culture and adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE use.
• Report deviations in processes and assist in corrective actions related to quality deviations.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate a forklift and other relevant machinery as needed.
• Complete all required training modules and attend formal training sessions.
• Follow and uphold the Client Life Saving Rules and promote safety, quality, and accident prevention.
Required Qualifications
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of general warehouse/production experience.
• Forklift operation experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Six months of related production or warehouse experience.
• Ability to operate computers and relevant software for production processes.
