Advantage Technical is seeking a Production Chemist for our client in Irvine, CA.
This position is for an entry-level Production Chemist, you will be responsible for supporting the formulation of products and intermediates utilizing biologicals and chemicals of varying properties and characteristics to meet specifications following established GMP processes and procedures.
Contract Duration – through 12/31/2024
Onsite day shift position 7AM to 3:30PM
Paying up to $31/hr
Responsibilities
• Responsible for assisting in the bulk formulation of products of moderate complexity including intermediates under approved written procedures and policies.
• Supports the formulation of our client’s Product in team-based manufacturing.
• Follow procedures and work instructions to execute production tasks.
• Complete inventory and quality transactions in the SAP Inventory System
• Complete required documentation in an accurate and timely manner following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field
• 0-3 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent.
• Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills.
• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools- Excel and Word
• Basic working knowledge of laboratory environments, materials, and equipment.
