Product Manager, Gene Therapy
Position Summary
Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring a Product Manager, Gene Therapy. The Product Manager leads the marketing efforts for the Gene Therapy service offering within Catalent’s Cell and Gene division. The position involves working with multiple stakeholders and geographies to lead successful promotion and drive revenue growth for the Gene Therapy portfolio. He/she owns strategic marketing of the portfolio and leads tactical marketing execution. The position offers the opportunity for development and professional growth. This is a full-time position: Monday – Friday, Days. This is a remote position.

The Role
• Support the launch of innovative platforms/services that can speed path to market for Gene Therapy developers
• Work with business leaders, subject matter experts and central marketing resources to translate business and marketing objectives into marketing tactics
• Together with corporate marketing resources and with direction from the manager, support execution of tactics to increase awareness and lead generation
• Select, create content, and assess ROI for digital tactics, tradeshows, seminars, and customer events relevant to the Gene Therapy business
• Support targeting campaigns, including authoring marketing messages for campaigns
• Work closely with business development to ensure awareness of marketing activities for Gene Therapy. Ensure adoption and proper usage of sales tools.
• Work with business leaders, commercial operations, sales, SMEs, and other strategic partners to understand the business drivers and marketing needs.
• Analyze the business, customer, and competitive environment on a continual basis
• Provide input into regular competitive and market trend updates
• All other duties as assigned;
The Candidate
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Biochemistry, or a related field with 2+ years of product marketing experience required preferably within the Cell Gene Therapy field.
• CDMO and/or CRO knowledge highly preferred
• Broad understanding of brand and product management principles highly desired
• Strong analytical and project management skills, and oral and written communication skills. Problem-solving skills highly desired.
• High level attention to detail while managing multiple projects and/or priorities under tight deadlines is a must
• Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Internet Explorer required
• Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
