Role Overview
Arnett Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in a rotating PRN position. The ideal candidate will conduct diagnostic procedures efficiently, catering to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. The role requires following physician instructions, proficient equipment operation, and precise positioning of patients to capture necessary diagnostic images. Ensuring patient care and respect is paramount in this role.
Requirements
• Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
• Must hold active status in either the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (RT(R)) or Nuclear Medicine (RT(NM)), or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
• Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) through ARRT or NMTCB is required within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to adapt equipment and positioning for patients with unique conditions.
• Possession of a current Indiana State Department of Health license as a Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist is essential for this position.
