Job Description
We are hiring a hybrid-remote Principal Product Owner who will drive the next cycle of innovation for CLIP within the enterprise.
CLIP: acronym for “CoreLogic Integrated Property” is a proprietary Master Data product. The CLIP unique identifier conjoins the most current and complete universe of all real properties within CoreLogic data assets.
One of the competitive advantages CoreLogic has is its rich tapestry of property and geospatial data. However, disassociated data can be problematic. By creating a unique property identifier that links datasets across our national property ecosystem, we not only resolve this ‘data silo’ problem but also unlock corresponding client benefit. CLIP provides our clients access to property data that is complete, current and connected. The connectivity made possible by CLIP allows us to have a unique perspective on property parcels that is not available elsewhere.
Job Responsibilities
• With Data as a Product orientation, functionally lead the property graph with the principles of master data management.
• Solve high value problems of nationwide scale that are fundamental to the digitization of real estate business.
• Apply Big Data Analytics, Master Data Management and Geospatial analytics to design and build differentiating data products.
• Work with commercial product management leaders to understand vision, go-to-market strategy and define product features and roadmaps to realize product vision.
• Own the roadmap and lead delivery execution.
• Provide functional guidance to a team of architects, software engineers, data engineers and QA.
• Work with market facing product teams to evangelize data products and enable integration.
• Participate in product strategy and planning sessions and present to executives.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data analytics or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
• 15 years of total experience in Technology
• At least 10 years of experience in designing Big Data Analytics based.
Functional Skills
• Detailed product definition as per agile principles
• Feature roadmap prioritization and trade-offs
• Data analysis, summarization and data driven story telling.
Technical Skills
• Principles of Master Data Management (MDM). We are not looking for specific MDM tool knowledge rather core fundamentals of MDM.
• Understanding of data governance principles such as reference data management, data lineage, data privacy and security, permissible use
• High level system design
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON data contracts
Soft Skills
• Team player: Inspires and energizes colleagues.
• Curious and Collaborative: Able to problem-solve in a cross-functional group of technologists and domain SMEs.
• Fast learner; build domain knowledge on the job.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Preferred Skills
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field
• Experience with statistical scoring techniques to quantify data quality and reliability
• Experience with at least one data visualization tools (Google data studio / Power BI / Tableau)
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience working in Google cloud Big Query environment.
Annual Pay Range
132,600 – 150,000 USD
