The Opportunity

Adobe has made industry-leading progress in addressing the enterprise need for new, scalable ways to create ideas and assets with genAI-infused workflows and products. Adobe Digital Media’s recent launch of genAI-powered products for enterprises including: Firefly Services (APIs), Firefly Custom Models, Object Composites, Style Kits and unique AI features within flagship products like Adobe Photoshop, Express and Illustrator.
We’re looking for a Principal, Creative Enterprise Customer Beta Operations to standardize our alpha/research and beta product program with customers. A successful candidate will be incredible at creating minimum viable process, tracking milestones and progress, interact well with customers and internal stakeholders. This role reports to the Director , Creative Enterprise Developer Strategy.
What you’ll do
• Articulate & manage a (repeatable) process for recruiting, signing and working with customers for alpha/research and beta stage programs
• Partner closely with product management, product marketing, professional services, sales, business development, and legal to successfully execute programs.
• From PM/Eng: defined goals of each API alpha/research & beta (entry and exit criteria)
• From PM/ProServe/PMM: ideal customer profile & use case for each API program
• From Sales: Work with NAMs / StratDev to clear list to target (review Ent BoB; current spend; deal cycle; sales leadership approval)
• Create standard customer feedback mechanisms
• Gather strategic and feature insights from existing channels
• Feedback loop with PM, Design and Eng
• Develop & manage alpha/research & beta customer lists
• Liaise between customer prospect, legal, product, PMM to resolve customer questions
• Ensure pre-release agreements signature
• Secure “post-sales” arrangement for alpha/research and beta API onboarding & support
• ProServe, Product engineering
• Monitor program, exit timeline, off-boarding/transitioning of beta customers
• Define a clear, committed and flexible program roadmap; Drive objectives and key results to measure the success.
• Spot risks, find opportunities, Continuously learn and confirm/adjust plans
• Run clear cadence and checkpoints; Present to Creative Enterprise Leadership
What you will need to succeed
• 5+ years of demonstrated program management in fast-moving, technically-oriented, customer context
• Extreme passion for solving customer problems
• Excellent “connector” of people, ideas, activity – internal and external
• Outstanding analytic, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to context switch across products, projects, and customers
• Work across internal teams on behalf of product and customer outcomes.
• Ability to working autonomously, manage through influence and deliver on-time with quality
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $138,600 — $258,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
