The role you’ll contribute:
A Primary Research Analyst for Consumer Insights in the Strategic Planning and Research department is principally responsible for collecting, processing, and interpreting data to formulate reports based upon the research findings. The Analyst must have strong initiative and follow-through and be able to anticipate the needs of clients. They must also be resourceful, professional, and a team player.
The Primary Research Analyst must have a primary research background as well as the skillset to analyze secondary data. They must be able to apply both qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data, handle numerous tasks simultaneously, prioritize, meet deadlines, prepare written client deliverables, present the findings, and produce substantiated recommendations.
The position requires coordination of projects with diverse groups, including internal and external stakeholders, and an ability to clearly and concisely communicate both verbally and in writing. Must be a skilled communicator and have the ability to interact, manage, and guide colleagues and client teams.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Conduct and analyze primary research data gathered through qualitative and quantitative techniques within all aspects of the organization including branding, advertising, websites and tools, physician engagement etc.
· Be able to conduct, analyze, and report findings from qualitative and quantitative research methods:
o Qualitative Research:
§ Write discussion guides for various types of qualitative research methods
§ Conduct qualitative research studies including in-depth interviews and focus groups
§ Compile, analyze, and interpret qualitative findings and themes to present a clear story
o Quantitative Research:
§ Design, program, and evaluate quantitative surveys created internally and externally
§ Utilize findings from qualitative sessions to develop quantitative surveys
§ Use statistical software tools to analyze quantitative surveys using a variety of statistical methods
· Maintain SQL queries, tracker surveys, and department dashboards (Ex. Brand Tracker, Physician Engagement, etc.).
· Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for continuous surveys and studies
· Collect and analyze primary and secondary data to highlight industry trends, consumer demographics, preferences, etc.
· Process ad hoc requests from leadership, internal clients, and other stakeholders
· Provide support and collaborate with team members on assimilation of variety of data, including primary and secondary data, for advanced storytelling
· Prepare reports of findings, illustrate data graphically, and translate complex findings into written text and presentations
· Present the findings and recommendations to department and team members, Senior Leadership and internal clients in a professional manner
· Maintain relationships with inter and intra departmental teams and vendors
Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Proficiency in MS Office including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, etc.
· Demonstrated proficiency in database programs and data analysis software such as Excel, SPSS, PowerBI, QlikSense, SQL, etc.
· Experience in performing primary and secondary market research; including qualitative and quantitative methodologies
· Proven primary and secondary market research analysis experience
· Ability to design and execute research methodologies as well as analyze data from qualitative research, quantitative surveys, and secondary databases
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to draw insights and conclusions from multiple sources of data, raw data, secondary information, etc.
· Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
· Adaptable, flexible, and responsive to changing department and system needs; act accordingly in a timely manner
· Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills i.e. expresses thoughts, ideas, and feedback well, both written and verbally
· Exhibits good listening and comprehension skills
· Strong initiative and follow-through

· Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Research, Marketing, Psychology, Business, or related field
· A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a related field
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or related field
