Labcorp is hiring a Pricing Analyst. In this role, the individual will be responsible for handling special pricing requests (SPRs) from the field for existing hospital and national accounts. Responsibilities include performing financial analysis for price adjustments to determine if the request is within established company guidelines and policies, analysis of the requested price versus GPO fee schedules, market value, established guardrails, etc. In addition to account level pricing decisions, individual is responsible to develop, maintain, and distribute relevant client fee schedules. Other duties as assigned.
This position will work closely with the department’s director and analysts to gain an understanding of how to price strategically and enable the individual to be promoted into an analyst position once they demonstrate consistent proficiency and competency with pricing principles. Additionally, this position requires excellent computer and analytical skills since the job centers on effectively evaluating data to make pricing decisions. Verbal and written communication skills are essential since the individual must share pricing structure, policies and changes with other departments. The individual must work efficiently under pressure to make timely decisions and quick changes when necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Process SPR requests and perform price adjustments.
• Answer and maintain requests sent through National Pricing Email Box
• Prepare and distribute tracking reports
• Distribute Client specific fee schedules
• Coordinate with divisional business units for entry of GPO related pricing requests
• Additional responsibilities as required to support the business.
REQUIREMENTS
• 1-2 years analytical experience (pricing related analytics preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft products including Outlook, MSWord and is at an intermediate level with Excel
• Preferred: Knowledge of LCLS/LCBS, CRM systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrates an ability to analyze issues and offer solutions.
• Team-oriented; works collaboratively and effectively with others by sharing ideas in a positive manner, listens to and considers ideas and suggestions from others.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent organization and time management skills; ability to adjust priorities to meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed of progress.
EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field

Pay Range: $16.35 – $20.00 hourly
