Position Summary
Under close supervision, processes quotes, applications, renewals and/or basic endorsements for designated lines of business.

• The successful candidate will work from our Knowledge Park Office, located in Harborcreek, PA.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develops and applies basic knowledge of rules, rates and procedures for quotes, applications, endorsements and/or renewals of designated lines of business.
• Enters and updates policy records, applying appropriate rules and rates by accessing online manuals.
• Contacts Agents and underwriters to obtain additional information as required.
• Enters cancellations, expirations and partial cancellations into the system as required.
• Develops and applies a basic knowledge of cancellation laws for states in which ERIE operates.
• Performs limited underwriting review and rates complex quotes, applications, endorsements or renewals as required.
• Resolves problems and answers inquiries from associates, Agents, underwriters and management, in routine consultation with Level II and III input.
• Acts as a liaison to Underwriting, Office of the President, Collections, State Bureaus, and State Insurance Departments on premium audit issues and answer audit-related complaints.
• Assists the section supervisor with various projects.

Qualifications
Minimum Educational Requirements
• High school diploma, or GED, required.
Additional Experience
• Experience providing clerical support related to the rating and/or processing of policies in underwriting application, endorsements, renewals or equivalent, preferred.
• Basic knowledge of various online systems, such as BUNDL and ERIEbooks, preferred.
• Passing score on LOMASelect tests required.
• Ability to enter data with speed and accuracy, required.
• Willingness to pursue professional insurance/technology courses preferred.
