About The Position Our client, located on the coast in Alaska, is seeking to add Advanced Practice Providers to their Tuberculosis team. This is a rural health position solely dealing with Tuberculosis patients and cases. The schedule is 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off. Providers who hold a dual master’s in public health or who have a public health background are preferred. All experience levels, with relevant backgrounds, are welcome to apply. Located on the southern side of the Seward Peninsula along the Bering Sea coast in Arctic Alaska, this region is an interesting destination that combines Alaska’s gold rush history with rich Iupiat culture, great fishing, and plentiful wildlife. The city is perhaps best known today as the finish line for the 1,049-mile Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. The race begins the first Saturday in March in Anchorage, and the first dog teams begin arriving in Nome as soon as eight days later.
