A level III trauma center that provides 24-hour access to an in-house emergency physician, trauma surgeon, and anesthesiologist, in addition to intensive care services and orthopedic surgeons is seeking an interventional cardiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The candidate must have clean malpractice and NPDB records and an active Arkansas license. Credentialing can be expedited for the right candidate. The position requires coverage 5 days a month, Monday through Friday. Call type is in-house and STEMI, with a response time of 1 hour for in-house calls and less than 30 minutes for emergency/STEMI calls. The call ratio is 100% in-house with no patient callbacks. The average 24-hour call involves 20-25 calls. Admissions are handled by the hospitalist service unless it’s a STEMI case.
