Pharmacy Technician Sr. Representative (Senior tech)

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will be responsible for using advanced knowledge of the job to advise pharmacy techs on order fulfillment and related activities.
• Assist in coordinating and monitoring daily workflow in the pharmacy. Step in to assist lead technicians.
• Participate in Lean and Continuous Improvement efforts internal and external to the department. Supports staffing of pharmacy tech functions
• Supports and trains new employees, and identifies ongoing training needs of tenured employees that require retraining.
• Understand and help manage inventory processes (cycle count, new drug additions, reverse distribution)
• Other duties as assigned
What you need to do the job:
• High School diploma or GED required
• Pharmacy Technician license / certification / registration as required by state laws.
• Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment, multi-task
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times
• Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes as needed
