The role you’ll contribute:
2/28/22 Prepares and organizes pharmacy medications by name and dosage, as listed on patient orders. To provide safe and accurate medication services and to support all those involved in direct patient care.

Facilitates medication safety practices
· Identifies, mitigates, and reports potential medication errors such as lookalike sound-alike medications
Maintains continuous learning and pharmacy practice development
· Maintains personal continuing education plan including documentation of an annual selfevaluation and plan for self-development
· Completes CE modules as part of Pharmacy Technician licensure renewal
Provides patientcentered care services
· Provides accurate, safe and timely medication therapy
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· High school degree
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
· Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a physical science, business or healthcare
· One year of contemporary hospital pharmacy experience
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
· Registered Pharmacy Technician in their respective state or within 90 days based on state requirement
· If applicable to facility Sterile Compounding Certification
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
· Current certification from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or from the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians (ICP
