Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) is a premier clinical and academic health system providing expert pediatric care for infants, children and teens with some of the most challenging medical problems. We provide care in more than 50 pediatric medical and surgical sub-specialties. JHACH is one of the largest freestanding children’s hospitals in the southeast and one of only three freestanding children’s hospitals in Florida. They are ranked by U.S. News & World Report as the #1 children’s hospital in Florida, and ranked nationally in 7 different specialty areas.
In 2011, All Children’s Hospital joined Johns Hopkins Medicine to become Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, and the only hospital outside the Baltimore/DC region with the Johns Hopkins name. It is one of three (3) academic hospitals in the Johns Hopkins Medicine family.
JHACH is a 259-bed freestanding children’s teaching hospital. The 10-story hospital includes a 97-bed NICU (one of the largest in the southeast), a 22 bed Cardiovascular ICU, a 28-bed Pediatric ICU, 12 state of the art operating suites, and an obstetrics unit. The campus is home to an Outpatient Care Center, 3 Ronald McDonald houses, and a new Research and Education building that was opened in 2018 to serve as a pediatric innovation center focused on new discoveries and treatments for childhood diseases.
As an academic teaching hospital, medical education is very important to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. We are home to two (2) ACGME-accredited residency programs in Pediatrics and Child Neurology. They also have 14 fellowship programs across a cadre of specialties.
JHACH is looking to hire a BE/BC, Pediatric CV Intensivist for our Heart Institute.
• Full-Time – day shift, weekends, and on-call coverage
• MD/DO degree with a recognized residency program
• Pediatric Critical Care and Cardiac fellowship training is highly preferred
• Two or more years preferred, graduating fellows are welcome
