As a Teller, you will:Greet members in a prompt, friendly and professional manner, while actively listening and asking questions to understand our members’ needs.Perform a variety of financial and member service transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, Loan payments, and other services specific to each office.Share and recommend products and service promotions with our members, making appropriate referrals within the credit union.Represent and promote Altra at sponsored events and community involvement opportunities.Qualified candidates will be required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED and a minimum one (1) month to one (1) year of Teller, retail and/or customer service experience.Basic math and communication skills, customer service, attention to detail, and cash handing experience preferred.Basic computer skills and willingness to learn are required.The essential functions of a Teller at Altra will require standing for extended periods of time and potentially lifting up to 50 pounds (coin bags), when needed.Considerations will be made for those who are unable to fulfill the physical requirements, as Altra is an equal opportunity employer and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.Our office locations are looking for individuals with a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the offices applied to.Each office is looking for individuals to be able to work anywhere from 15-29 hours per week.Operating hours at each office location are 7:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m.to Noon.Operating hours at Festival are 9:00 a.m.to 7:00 p.m.Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.on Saturdays.Each office requires Tellers to work anywhere from one (1) to three (3) Saturdays per month.Lobby Hours:Monday – Friday:9:00 a.m.to 5:30 p.m.Monday – Friday:9:00 a.m.to 7:00 p.m.(Festival location) Saturday – 9:00 a.m.to 4:00 p.m.(Festival location) Drive Up Hours:Monday – Friday:7:30 a.m.to 5:30 p.m.Saturday:8:00 a.m.to Noon Pay andBenefits:Tellers at the Festival location will start at $16.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential per hour, plus a $1.00 Teller premium per hour (based on later office hours and weekend hours), while all other office location Tellers will start at $16.00 per hour, plus a $1.00 Teller premium, based on experience.Up to a 6% Employer-matched 401(k)additional 3% employer contribution Paid time off, volunteer time off, and your birthday off (paid)!
