As the go-to Optician, you’ll be the friendly face answering phones, booking appointments, and checking in frames. You’ll also play a pivotal role in pre-testing patients for the doctor, selling stylish glasses and contact lenses, and navigating the world of insurance billing. As an Optician, your primary role is to assist patients in selecting and fitting the proper eyewear to meet their vision needs. This role also involves interpreting prescriptions from Optometrists and Ophthalmologists, educating patients on eyewear care and maintenance, and managing inventory and sales records. Your attention to detail and strong communication skills will be essential in helping patients choose the best options for their lifestyle and visual requirements.
We’re looking for a full-time team member ready to dive into a 40-hour workweek with flexible scheduling options, including 10-hour and 8-hour shifts. Requirements
Licensed Optician, Certified Optician, or relevant eye care experience is required.
Strong knowledge of optics and eye care.
