DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely operates a variety of automatic equipment and monitors processes to assure proper application of materials. Functions as a team member and contributes to departmental production and quality goals. Performs troubleshooting processes and minor preventative maintenance on machines in accordance with operator’s procedures and checklists. Verify parts are in compliance with quality standards as outlined in operating procedures. Must complete job specific training within 90 days or disqualification will result.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BASIC SKILLS:
• Must have Math Level 1
• Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
• Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
• Able to read and write.
Associates who bid into position will not receive the pay increase until they have demonstrated the ability to perform the following basic skills. If these skills are not demonstrated within 90 days, the associate will be disqualified.
Job Specific Training Skills
1. Ability to navigate and effectively use a touch screen panel
2. Demonstrate and perform all tasks in accordance with Operating Procedures and Checklists
3. Ability to Identify parts that do not meet standard.
4. Must demonstrate the ability to keep up with production rates
5. Communicate all equipment issues that may hinder production and/or quality
