Location: Carmel, IN
Duration: 2-week project
Compensation: $16-18/hr based on experience (overtime available)
Hours: Daily hours will vary, but migration tech will be scheduled shift between the hours of 8 AM and 8 PM. Open availability required
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Migration Support Technician to assist with a 2-week migration project. The successful candidate will provide onsite migration support, move workstations, and follow the migration manual. This role requires staying onsite to support employees, taking inventory of equipment, and assisting end users with the setup of their desktop environment.
Key Responsibilities:
tProvide migration support for a 2-week project.
tMove workstations and follow the migration manual.
tStay onsite to assist employees who may need support.
tArrive onsite at the appointed time and check in with the onsite POC.
tLocate equipment and determine the work area as directed by the POC.
tTake inventory of new and old equipment, capturing serial numbers.
tAssist end users with login and setup of their desktop environment, including:

ttOutlook signatures
ttOneDrive sync
ttBrowser favorites
ttM365 application functionality
ttApplication verification
ttVerify print options (network and/or local).

tFollow directions from the onsite lead.
tEscalate any issues immediately to the site lead.
Qualifications:
tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
tAbility to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
tStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
tAbility to lift and move equipment as needed.
tMust adhere to the designated work hours and report time accurately.
Requirements:
tHigh School Diploma or GED.
tGood communication and reading skills.
tAbility to follow instructions.
tTechnical aptitude/familiarity (no prior experience needed).
