Title:
OCONUS Field Support Representative (FSR)
General Job Duties:
• This individual will be a representative for the Directed Energy Mobile Short Range Air Defense (DE M-SHORAD) supporting Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) and Continental United States (CONUS) operations.
• The individual will identify problems to the DE M-SHORAD along with recommendations for resolution and report status and resolution back from OCONUS/CONUS locations and DE M-SHORAD units.
• The individual will participate in site surveys to develop plans for installation of DE M-SHORAD capability at new locations in theater.
• Individual will be required to train and report issues identified during fielding.
• The individual will monitor the performance of the installing contractor and provide observations/comments to the program leads.
• The individual will be required to analyze the interfaces and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Individual will be required to interact with Military, Government, and contractors to accomplish the mission.
• Support of DE M-SHORAD systems and FAAD C2 in field locations and unit fielding’s will be required. Individual will deploy in 125 day rotations, with travel up to 75% of the time.
Responsibilities:
• Perform trouble shooting of system hardware
• Perform maintenance and system updates IAW established procedures.
• Perform operational training duties
• Assist in training and scenario development.
• Track hardware and software configurations.
Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University
• At least 3 years’ experience operating, working with, or supporting Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Combat Systems.
• Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Applicable experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Work Experience:
• Have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems and have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Have working knowledge of Department of the Army Acquisition processes, procedures, policies, requirements and regulations.
• Have experience in more than one aspect of system acquisition.
Preferences:
• Experience working with FAAD C2, Air and Missile Defense Work Station (AMDWS), Air Defense Airspace Management (ADAM) Cells or other elements of the C-RAM system of systems.
