Overview
The Northern California Clinical Rotation Recruitment Coordinator is a part-time position predominately administrative in its program responsibilities. The position is remote with some requirements for travel in Northern California. As a member of the Touro University California College of Education and Health Sciences Joint Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies/Master of Public Health Program, primary responsibilities are solely administrative.
The Northern California Clinical Rotation Recruitment Coordinator will formulate and implement a comprehensive recruitment plan that includes targeted advertising, travel, and management of the specific external stakeholders (clinical preceptors). The coordinator should have a demonstrated record of success in marketing and sales and experience with generating and delivering a marketing and recruitment plan. The work requires flexibility, adaptability, creativity, and attention to detail. The incumbent must support the university’s mission and be motivated to promote the growth and development of its programs. The coordinator must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of individuals in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Recruitment
· Work with the Director of Clinical Education to formulate and implement a comprehensive recruitment and admissions plan to meet and increase clinical rotations at specific geographic locations (Humboldt and Shasta counties) and specific rotations (e.g., internal medicine/hospitalist, emergency room, etc.).
· Generate recruitment materials based on programmatic information.
· Represent the Joint MSPAS/MPH program at recruitment events and opportunities.
· Coordinate events and programs to support recruitment activities (e.g., California Academy of PAs).
· Coordinate the dissemination of information to prospective preceptors and other stakeholders using multiple communication platforms.
· Coordinate the generation of branded marketing materials.
· Collaborate with Program Leadership to help solidify and manage existing partnerships within healthcare systems, businesses, and educational entities.
· Maintain communication with prospective clinical rotations to encourage and support completing the application process.
Data Analysis
· Create statistical reports and provide analytical data to assist with recruitment, enrollment, and yield strategies.
· Assess recruitment activities and document their outcomes.
· Participate in grant related reporting activities as required by the Program Analyst.
Other Tasks
· Oversee the planning of the annual Mental Health Conference alongside the Clincial Coordinator. This includes recruitment of speakers, advertisement, creation of promotional materials, social media posting, promoting conference to a target audience.
· Attend the monthly Zoom team meeting to discuss ongoing site recruitment and other agenda items.
· Other duties are as assigned.
Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university and two years of related work experience is preferred. Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may also be considered provided they have at least three years of related work experience.
• Experience in recruitment and/or working in the healthcare system.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the enthusiasm and motivation to contribute to the growth and development of the Joint MSPAS/MPH program.
• Knowledge and successful application of marketing and sales techniques.
• Knowledge of admissions requirements and curriculum.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, database management, and social media platforms.
• Ability to learn new technologies, be self-motivated, and prioritize workload.
• Ability to work as part of a team with the College(s), University, and other stakeholders.

USD $22,000.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
