Objectives:
Join us as a New Product Introduction Quality Engineer for our North America Food Preparation team!
We’re dedicated to delivering best-in-class consumer experiences, and we need your expertise to make it happen.
In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring excellence by deploying established quality systems across all processes. You’ll play a crucial role in the introduction of new products, ensuring they meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

Responsibilities:
• Be the voice of quality in all project cross functional team meetings. Be accountable for all quality deliverables – Electrolux Project Management Process.
• Actively participate in all key preventative activities (DFMEA, Design, PFMEA, PSRA, Tooling, and Launch Readiness) reviews.
• Leverage the Advance Quality Planning Process to provide feedback from other projects to develop countermeasures on current projects. Share best practices (lessons learned) within the group NPI community.
• Ensure product design are within the process capabilities and initiate actions to improve the process or acquire more capable equipment. Work directly with ME to validate the processes to the design expectations.
• Promote the use of Statistical Process Control, other Quality tools, Lean techniques, and concepts in order to secure process control, preferable with 100% detectability and to eliminate any waste.
• Establish and execute the in-process control plans based on design requirements, FFF (Fit, Feel and Finish) and process reviews (PFMEA).
• Promote and coordinate a smooth transition to Plant Quality from the Launch stage to SOP (Start of production). Work with the team to establish a robust quality plan for ongoing process control.
• Lead the investigation into external customer quality issues with robust problem-solving techniques.
• Lead the Quality Risk Assessment for all Cost Excellence Projects (cost out projects).
• Manage the Field Test Process
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in Quality, R&D or Industrial Operations in a Manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years’ experience utilizing AIAG’s APQP tools.
• Special passion for the consumer experience and its translation in product improvement
