Overview & Responsibilities
Job duties are as follows:
• Be responsible for debugging within a complex environment including multiple connected systems.
• Integrate key interfaces utilizing the MuleSoft Platform.
• Be responsible for MuleSoft API lifecycle development and management.
• Employ SOA design principles and standard methodologies.
• Schedule jobs using Mule out of box tools or work with enterprise tools.
• Provide operational reporting and health monitoring of the application.
• Be responsible for exception handling, reporting failures, investigating, and putting long term fixes in place to avoid bulk failures.
• Set up alerts, infrastructure, and security.
• Design and develop ESB/SOA/BPM middleware layers using tools like MuleSoft.
• Ensure the API-based architecture enables for outstanding user experience and response time.
• Ensure the reusability of built components.
• Apply Basic and OAuth used in authentication protocols on every API service call from outside the network and secure service account passwords using encryption mechanism with different encrypted methods.
• Analyze and design system requirements.
• Create RAML specifications as API contracts for development.
• Understand and implement DataWeave scripts.
• Communicate with the project client and onshore counterpart.
• Deploy APIs to CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, On-prem workers, etc.
• Practice API-led connectivity.
• Implement basic policies in API Manager.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (Maven Plugin, Jenkins, etc.).
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications Systems Management, Information Technology, or a related technical field required. Two years of experience required working with the MuleSoft platform as a Developer, Analyst, or related position.
• Any experience required with: the MuleSoft suite of products and MuleSoft API implementation; the SDLC and implementation of all project life cycle stages from requirements gathering through implementation and enhancements; Agile Software Development; Service Oriented Architecture; Integration Patterns; JAVA; SOAP Web services; RESTful and RAML; multiple versions of Mule including the latest version; SOA concepts; Web services; Micro Services; REST API; wide variety of continuous integration and source control tools; data interchange and data management (i.e. ETL processes, database interaction); build tools (i.e. Maven); unit testing frameworks (i.e. Junit/TestNG, Git, Jenkins); Service Oriented Architecture; design, development, implementation, and integration of enterprise-wide applications using MuleSoft Web Services (SOAP and REST); Mule connectors as part of integration usage and to ensure robust and loosely coupled integration layer (i.e. Salesforce, File, Database, JMS, SMTP); web development using HTML, JavaScript, and XML; MuleSoft features (i.e. DataWeave, API Designer, filters, flow control, collection splitters, aggregators, and/or Scatter-Gather); Mule 4 components including SMTP Transport, FTP/SFTP Transport, Database Connector, and Azure connector; customer service and solution ownership; and offshore resource management.
• In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications Systems Management, Information Technology, or a related technical field and two years of experience, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications Systems Management, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
